Steve Ashley sang for “The Staccatos”, One of the most successful bands in South – Africa with hits like “Cry to me & Butchers and Bakers”


Steve has a dynamic stage personality and despite having a singing style, appearance and voice striking similar to that of Tom Jones, he also has a big repertoire consisting of other hits of the 1960’s, 1970’s,1980’s, Ballades, Country and Pop/Rock.
Steve lived and worked in the UK, and on his return to SA did a number of TV shows in the 80’s. Currently Steve is busy with the Tom Jones and Solid Gold shows at some of our Casino”s and Theatres

Steve received a standing ovation on 26 June 2015 at the Emperors Palace in a show with Corlea Botha, Jannie Moolman and Monique

Steve just finished his solo CD titled “I’m Coming Home”, featuring hits like “Cry to me, Man without love, Sugar Sugar, Midnight Special, Green Green Grass of Home, Bridge over Troubled water, House of the Rising sun, and many more.
